Building Systems Design (BSD), founded in 1983,  develops master specification content available to the architecture, engineering, and construction markets of North America.  BSD delivers its content via innovative software tools that help clients simplify projects and increase efficiency.

Caltius Structured Capital  facilitated the management buy-out of BSD through a recapitalization with debt and equity securities. The pre-existing owner, the Construction Specifications Institute, remained a minority equity holder and key strategic partner.
